About Our Approach

  • A Pretty Big Deal: Purple has been making waves with their mattresses and products for a while, so when they came to Prime Line for another foldable tote—this time for their XL Harmony Pillow—we were thrilled to jump on board! Our first task was working with the foundation of their original retail totes and finding the perfect balance of size and structure to accommodate the large box, ensuring customers could easily carry it from store to home.
  • It’s Who You Know: Over the years, we’ve emphasized the importance of building strong relationships with our vendors. Having already collaborated with Purple on their retail totes, we knew exactly who to trust for this project. With the new size being an extension of the original, we were confident in selecting the right material and partner for the job.
  • Working it Out : When we first encountered the challenge of designing this tote, there was a lot of brainstorming on how to make it comfortable and user-friendly for customers walking through stores. We experimented with different orientations—vertical or wide? Should the bag hang down, or would more people prefer to carry it on their arm? We tested multiple sizes to find the perfect balance—not too big, not too small, but just right. Our Design and Sales teams at Prime Line worked closely with Purple to fine-tune every detail.
  • Make it Worth it: Just like Purple’s other retail totes, this one was designed to be reusable. Its unique size, reflecting the distinctiveness of the brand, makes it stand out. Measuring 47.5 inches wide, it offers ample space for carrying laundry, groceries, and so much more for anyone lucky enough to get one
  • Fold it Up: Our team worked tirelessly from the initial concept to the final delivery of the folding reusable tote, as always.
