With the demand for a quick turnaround and the need to deliver just about anything, their packaging had to be as adaptable. From sturdy reusable bags to corrugated boxes, gift wrapping to special event packaging, or special edition items, they had to be ready!

Jet Black always ensured their clients had what they needed, and was only ever a text away. From helping with gift lists to groceries, or finding late-night noshes, the NYC residents who had memberships received high-end rewards and always felt like VIPs.

Making a brand stand out in a city that never sleeps is probably the ultimate challenge any design department, marketing department, and packaging company can dream of. Jet Black needed their packaging to stand out on every delivery made and every live and social event they held.
About The Collection
- The Vinyl Mom Tote: Jet Black was originally envisioned as a convenient shopping solution for busy moms in NYC. For their launch, we were asked to create a stylish, on-brand clear purple vinyl reusable tote celebrating mothers, alongside a large gift box for giveaways at their first live event. Being part of Jet Black’s launch was an honor and paved the way for us to become their primary packaging supplier.
- The Lil’ Black Bag: Everyone knows the allure of the little black dress—Jet Black had the chic black bag. Confident in our expertise with paper bags, they trusted us to create stylish yet durable delivery bags for neighborhood drops. Their branding made a statement with a subtle UV gloss pattern on the deep black beater-dyed paper, while a minimalist white logo was elegantly stamped on the front and back. The design was perfected with refined white cotton handles, merging sophistication and strength.
- The Best Reusable Fold-A-Tote: As Jet Black’s needs evolved, they sought a more eco-friendly, reusable solution for their deliveries. We introduced them to different tote concepts, ideal for easy storage and shipping. They needed a larger, durable bag that could be stored compactly and used repeatedly, so we helped develop their custom foldable tote. The branding from their iconic paper bags was seamlessly transitioned onto soft, flexible material, resulting in one of our favorite reusable bags to date—one that many of us still proudly use and show today
- The Audio Gift Box: This box, a true labor of love, sits proudly on our display shelves. Jet Black wanted an innovative gift box for new members—one that would not only present them with AirPods but also play a video and audio message welcoming them to the Jet Black family. The package included an iPod or iPhone for each new member to keep. The box was elegantly wrapped in Jet Black’s branding, featuring white and clear UV ‘J’s’ echoing the design of their bags, custom ribbons, interior printing, molded foam, and more. Our Prime Line team worked tirelessly for months alongside Jet Black to make this vision flawless.
- The Ecom Side: Jet Black eventually expanded to offer e-commerce for their members, necessitating mailers and shipping boxes for warehouse deliveries. Once again, we stepped in to develop custom bubble mailers that aligned with their sleek black, white, and purple branding. Their corrugated boxes featured a bold, billboard-style logo on the sides, making a strong statement. Jet Black was suddenly everywhere!
Working with Jet Black was a truly special experience. From the very start, Prime Line supported them in creating their first piece of branded packaging and continued to collaborate on everything that carried their name. It was a rare opportunity to design uniquely exclusive items that remain some of our favorite pieces.
