As we make our way into the final few weeks of 2018, we have come together to create a list of our top 10 favorite projects for this year. Below are our favorites of 2018:
UNIQLO: Drawstring Backpacks
First on our top 10 list, the modern brand created reusable drawstring backpacks with fashion and functionality in mind. The fun construction and sleek material create a cutting-edge packaging piece to be used in or out of the store. Drawstring backpacks are great additions to any packaging collection and can be created to fit your brand identity.
ELF: Totes and Wristlets
The holographic trend has been especially popular this year. Incorporated onto ELF’s reusable tote bags and zippered wristlet pouches, these pieces will continue to stay on trend throughout the seasons. With many different types of hologram ranging from deep yellows and bold purples to lighter pastel blues and pinks, there is a unique hologram that can be added to any brand’s packaging.
Anastasia Beverly Hills: Makeup Pouches
We loved the use of multiple chic materials Anastasia Beverly Hills used to create a luxurious packaging collection of brush and makeup pouches. Made from a selection of high-quality resources ranging from glossy pvc to luxe reusable materials, along with trendy treatments like embossing, metallic hot stamping, and holograms, the cosmetic brand was able to create the ideal makeup pouch collection.
Urban Outfitters: Promotional Pride Shoppers
This year, we celebrated Pride Month in June with Urban Outfitters’ promotional Pride collection. This was a fun replacement for their everyday reusable shopping bags. As a result of using bright, bold colors and quotes that reflect Pride Month; collectible, eye-catching packaging was created.
Ann Taylor: Holiday Shopping Bags
Popular clothing brand Ann Taylor created a luxurious addition to their holiday packaging collection. The brand made sure to stay on top of this year’s current trends by adding holographic foil stamping to their paper shopping bags. The subtle use of hologram made their holiday bags shine.
9.11 Memorial Museum: Cotton Totes
The 9.11 Memorial Museum created a cotton canvas tote with the saying “Love is stronger than hate.” This powerful quote reflects the outpouring of love and compassion after this national tragedy. These actions proved that love is truly stronger than hate. Having a versatile material like cotton canvas can take your bag through the change of seasons. Tote bags like this are also eco-friendly since they are made from a renewable and washable fabric.
Jet Black: Shopping Bag Collection
Jet Black is a lifestyle brand with an assortment of high-quality shopping bags made from beater dyed paper and unique modern handles. To add a luxe shine to the bag, their “J” logo is spot uv printed onto the side gusset. To complete their collection, a pvc tote bag was added for those on the go. PVC is a great material that is reusable and can be easily cleaned.
Marke: Jewelry Boxes
Specialty jewelry boxes make up an important element to a brand’s packaging. The jewelry brand Marke created a unique two-piece rigid box with interior velvet flocking. The velvet flocking and insert displays their product while keeping it safe and clean. The exterior is printed a luxurious sage green with their logo in black hot stamping to add extra shine and texture.
Melanie Lyne: Holiday Shoppers
The brand warmed up with Winter’s Rose Gold to create a trendy paper shopping bag for the holiday season. This rich shade was printed all over the bag with a metallic finish and matching handles. Their black foil stamped logo adds an edgy finish to the shopper.
Laura: Holiday Shoppers
The classic holiday design of red poinsettias and gold foil stamping give this bag a luxurious and timeless feel. Paired with ribbon handles and a gift tag, this holiday shopper can double as a gift bag. No additional wrapping required.
